Dunmore RFC is a small club in County Galway with the ambition to drive the club at the local level and to hopefully someday bring the Connacht Rugby “Grass roots to Green Shirts” objective to Dunmore with having a local player, playing for Connacht and Ireland. The club have teams ranging from underage levels through to senior. Read on to learn more about our history, events and upcoming fixtures and see how you can become part of our club.
The club has played in the Junior Division of the Connacht League since then and have won 3 league titles and selection of Cups & Plate titles.

In April 2022 with the assistance of our Connacht Development Officer Niall Doherty, we worked in 11 primary schools in the parish and had an Blitz with over 400 kids in attendance. And kids being taught rugby skills on a weekly basis.
We first started our under age program in 1993 and have participated in all age groups from under 8’s to under 18 since then and cater for over 150 under age players each year.
